Internet in a Macro
History of changes since the beginning
This is a complete list of changes to Internet in a Macro since the first
beta release. If you are upgrading from a previous version, please take a
moment and look at this file to learn what new features have been added and if
any bugs were fixed.

A status line bug when connecting to a WWW site was fixed

Added options to import sites from a file on on the screen

Many info boxes are now replaced with status line messages thus causing
site connections to occur quicker in some instances
Reworked the status line routine; now it will always be on the bottom of
the screen even if you don't use a status line
A message will now advise you of a menu with no options on it and tell you
how to add some
Changed the format of most menus slightly

New features
The global options on the site menu have been moved to more logical
letters; these letters are skipped for sites
An automatic installation macro has been added
You can now jump to most menu or configuration items from anywhere in the
program
Inet_mac can now search a file for Email addresses and prompt you whether
or not to add them to the address book
A view current configurations option has been added to the main config menu
If you search for a site, the program will keep on displaying matches until
you select one or there is no more matches
The send bug function now appends a copy of the configuration settings
A toggles menu has been added to the configuration routine
An 8-bit Rlogin toggle has been added
You can now put comments in the configuration file
Canceling a connection to a site now works more cleanly
WWW addresses that start with http:// no longer have to contain this; it is
added by default
Some formatting checks are now added for addresses and an error box will
pop up if an address is badly formatted
When adding a site, the site type is now selected from a menu
The site name is now trimmed to 64 characters
You can now manually distribute a mail message
Aliases can now be put in a distribution list
The configuration file can be updated from betas 9/10 and will be updated
automatically in future versions
A confirmation prompt has been added before sending a manual mail message
A confirm tagline toggle has been added; if enabled, you may select a
tagline, pick another tagline, enter one manually, or not append one at
all
Some dialog boxes now have a more expanded and detailed format
A sound toggle has been added
Inet_mac now sounds a beep upon exit
The number sign # will be appended to an IRC channel if it is not present
The delete file routine has been refined and does not exit the program

External macros are called using call rather than goto so
inet_mac is not unloaded

Cleaned up some minor bugs in the sites menu
A macro error no longer occurs if the message file for a mail message is

Added tagline support for outgoing messages
If an external editor is defined in the setup file, it will be used
An option to set the FTP command-line has been added for users without
NCFTP
The program now allows for not putting a subject on a message
More messages are written to the log file

Fixed a bug that caused an error if the name field was skipped when
adding an entry to the address book
The delete file command from the Unix menu now works properly
When hitting escape at a prompt in the config menu, the program jumped back
to the main config menu rather than the current menu
Inet_mac no longer searches the type field of a site when finding sites
to remove
New features
You can now tell the program to jump to an external macro after a
succesful connection; separate macros can be defined for each type of
site; the variable %addr contains the address of the site for use by
the external macro
A bulkmail option has been added to the mail menu
Some of the configuration options can now be left blank for no default
Other
F2 is no longer hardcoded into the macro as a key to start it
